This is a new generation of website that has been built to provide a fun way for members to both interact with people in the pipe community and to have access to ever increasing resources which the members actually contribute.

Quick Fix for an Ill-Fitting Bit ...... submitted by Al Shinogle of Denver, Colorado

Sometime a pipe bit just doesn't feel right.  Perhaps the stem is too thin or the button too small. Don't give up on that pipe or spend the money for a new stem.  Try this.  It really works!

Neoprene "O" Rings.  They are very inexpensive, small, and non-obtrusive; but give the teeth something additional to hold onto.

You should be able to find them at your local hardware store.

  

Testimonial:  I am rather hard on stems as I tend to grip them too tightly in my teeth.  I tried an "O" Ring and was amazed at how much more comfortable a stem could be. But I was not a believer until I tried it and it did take some arm twisting. Don't be bashful about trying it.  I am now grateful to know this little trick.  .....LCS in Kansas City

Renewal of Memberships 

  

Renewals are initiated through the Member Profile.  Click on the Maintain Profile tab and login. 

Next click on the button on the right side of the page labeled "Renew Until...".  Another screen appears with a button labeled "Start renewal in a new window".  Click on that button.

If upgrade options are available for renewal, select the appropriate option.  In most cases that will be "Regular Membership".

Proceed with the steps in the payment process.  (Online payment through PayPal is preferred, but a manual option is available if a check will be mailed.)
